This morning Jon and I were listening to Avery talking on the baby monitor after she woke up. Jon said, "I think she's singing". At first I wasn't sure, but as time went by it became clear that she was indeed singing. She sang her little heart out, most of it indistinguishable with occasional words that we could understand. She then stopped singing, sat there for a few seconds and said "more song?" and promptly began singing again. It was so cute, it brought tears to my eyes. She proceeded to do this about 7 more times before we went in and got her out of her crib.

Hi, dear ones,
What a wonderful and precious memory! Next time she does it, please get it on video - or at least audio! It will be something great to share with her later! Kinda like the audio of Mayo's "and dat dhost" ghost story Mom has of when he was 4 or 5. It still sounds so endearing!
Do you think she could have been singing some of those 100+ verses of "The Farmer in the Dell" I sang to her last Wednesday? You know sung to try to calm her after "princhy" accidently bumped her when he took her "Baby"'s "baba?"
What were some of the words that you could understand? Did she stay with animals? Or living things? Or did she get to "The butter dish takes the serving spoon?"
Lots of love, Mom/Grancy
oh my god, that's the cutest ever. makes me miss her (and y'all). i want to squeeze her.
