Of course we didn't have a camera with us this morning, so this is only a representation of Avery's first sand castle that she built with her own loving hands. To really imagine exactly what it looked like, picture it without the animal figurines, mermaids, moats, ornate spires, and exact scale replicas of 17th century historical buildings and then STOMP all over it. This will give you an idea of what it looked like. She had so much fun building it.We then got to walk (slowly) by an AA meeting that was being held on the beach. Venice is such a great place for kids!

she's brilliant. i am sure her sand castle was much better than this ol' thing.
and, i hope that will be her first and last aa meeting. though, i'm sure she gleaned a lot.
